Star Gospel Mission Leadership
Reverend Dr. Marion Platt III
Executive Director
Reverend Dr. Marion Platt, the sixth Executive Director and Pastor of Star Gospel Mission, is a Charleston native and former U.S. Army infantryman. With a nineteen-year ministry at The Salvation Army, he has served in various executive, academic, and pastoral roles across the South. He holds a doctorate from Trevecca Nazarene University and is a respected lecturer, evangelist, and revivalist.
